Just as the entire nation celebrates their wedding, Maha Xianna sends a sorcerer to an enemy country to request troops to attack Mengbanjia. To defend his country, the prince leaves his newlywed wife and sets off to fight the enemy. After the prince departs, Maha Xianna bribes the messenger, fabricates battle reports of continuous military defeats and the prince being surrounded, and then instructs the sorcerer to deceive the king through divination, claiming that Nanmanuona is an evil demon and the root cause of the defeat, urging the king to sentence her to death. At the execution ground, Nanmanuona transforms into a peacock and flies into the clouds. Later, the prince returns triumphantly, and the king is both shocked and delighted. After interrogating the messenger, Maha Xianna's schemes are exposed. The prince deeply misses Nanmanuona and vows to find her. At this moment, the Golden Lake Goddess reappears, handing the prince a golden bracelet left by Nanmanuona and guiding him to subdue a strange bird that knows the way to the Peacock Kingdom. Subsequently, the strange bird carries the prince across a volcano to the Peacock Kingdom, where he is welcomed by the king and queen of the Peacock Kingdom and reunites with his beloved Nanmanuona.
