Grandpa Mao and Grandma Mao are renowned surgeons and physicians within a radius of several hundred miles. They are kind-hearted, honest, and amiable, with their medical ethics and skills highly praised by the common people. One early morning, the elderly couple set out separately to practice medicine. After helping with a delivery, Grandma Mao drank some celebratory wine at the host's home and stumbled her way back, drunk. While lying intoxicated in the mountains, she unexpectedly encountered a magnificent tiger. The tiger showed no intention of harming her; instead, it was exceptionally gentle. It turned out that the tiger hoped Grandma Mao could help deliver its mate's cub. Seeing the tiger cub born safely, Grandma Mao prepared to return home. Before leaving, she noticed the tigress was injured and promised to send her husband, skilled in surgery, up the mountain the next day to treat the wound. During this time, a merchant was brutally murdered by bandits on the mountain, setting the stage for the legal troubles that would befall the elderly Mao couple... This film is adapted from a story in "Strange Tales from a Chinese Studio."
