In the freezing snow, after a fruitless search for food, Little White Rabbit finds two radishes. He eats the smaller one and plans to save the larger one for tomorrow. When passing by Little Deer's house, he worries that Little Deer might not find anything to eat and decides to give the big radish to him. Coincidentally, Little Deer is not home, so he leaves the radish in a conspicuous spot and leaves. When Little Deer returns home and sees the big radish, he is overjoyed and about to eat it when he remembers Little Bear. So he carries it to Little Bear's house, but Little Bear is also out. He then places the big radish on Little Bear's bed. When Little Bear comes back and prepares to eat the radish that fell from the sky, he spots Little Monkey's house from the window and decides to take the radish to Little Monkey instead. Arriving at Little Monkey's house, Little Monkey is not home either. Little Bear, holding the big radish, falls fast asleep outside the door. When Little Monkey returns, he wakes Little Bear up and asks about his purpose. After some polite back-and-forth, the two friends decide to give the big radish to Little White Rabbit, who loves radishes the most.
