The lion's roar instantly silenced the bustling forest, sending numerous panicked small animals into hiding. However, under the command of the fox, who was "borrowing the tiger's might," they had no choice but to emerge and cautiously serve the "king." Yet, the lion was clearly more interested in them than in the tributes they offered. 　　Just as the lives of many small animals hung in the balance, an elephant approached. Seeing an unwelcome intruder enter its territory, the lion flew into a rage and ordered the monkey, the pheasant, and the deer to compete with the elephant in picking fruit, collecting stones, and crossing the swamp. To its surprise, the elephant's skills were remarkably formidable. Unwilling to accept defeat, the lion decided to take on the challenge itself.
