In modern society, people gather and live like ants. Gray buildings resemble the claws of monsters, piercing high into the sky. Structures hundreds of stories tall penetrate the city's polluted air, sealing every urban dweller within prisons of steel and concrete. Here, hope is nowhere to be seen, happiness is absent, and the entire city resembles a massive construction site. At the foot of these towering buildings lies an inconspicuous small courtyard. An elderly woman lives there alone. As the buildings continue to expand upward, everyone is forced to wear safety helmets to protect themselves from falling bricks. Every morning, the courtyard is littered with rubble and debris. The old woman sweeps it over and over again, trembling with fear. Yet, she never forgets to pick fresh persimmons and offer them before the stone statue of Bodhisattva in the courtyard. The construction of the building continues day and night, making the old woman's courtyard increasingly perilous. Still, she stubbornly clings to this place, unwilling to leave. Yet, inevitably, the day of farewell must come...
