This is a dreamlike 19th-century town nestled among mountains and fields. In the early morning, the church bells ring, vintage cars travel along winding cobblestone roads, and people wake up, walking or skipping, breathing in the fresh morning air. At the end of the road stands a grand old house with a long history. The windows of the house open, and from the attic comes the clattering sound of a machine in motion. An old man sits before an ancient projector, watching old footage, when suddenly the machine stops, forcing him to pause and head to the kitchen. The old man is named Francis (voiced by Tim Everett), who has been tirelessly trying to invent a camera capable of capturing moving images with sound and color. Despite the constant comfort from his wife Elizabeth (voiced by Melanie O'Connell), Francis struggles to recover from repeated failures. Until one day, a single sentence from his wife sparks an inspiration. The old man swiftly springs into action, setting aside everything else...
