This surrealist experimental animated short begins with a man struggling on the surface of water. The scene shifts to a little girl skipping rope alone in an empty room, repeatedly entering and exiting such spaces. A man in a suit, hiding in a corner, secretly climbs upstairs and, like other men, is drawn to a dark red foreign object dropped by a woman. The camera returns to the little girl’s room, where this time, the suited man follows her in skipping rope. Within this pale, abstract space, everything is controlled by a carousel-like, endlessly looping maze, with characters and scenes mechanically repeating themselves. The suited men sit in a circle, each attempting to hang themselves, yet none succeed. Then they strip off their clothes, have heads installed, walk on hot coals, and are brutally skinned… The cake prepared for the picnic is swarming with dense, crawling ants. A family of three is actually having a picnic indoors. Characters and scenes rapidly and mechanically repeat once more, but this time, the family of three has vanished, leaving behind only a pile of food prepared for the picnic—as if it were all a dream.
