In the dead of night, it was time for bed. A little girl with tousled hair lay alone in her room, unable to sleep. She clutched the corner of her blanket tightly, her wide eyes fixed on every dark corner of the room, as if expecting something to arrive, yet also fearing something deep within. Just then, the door creaked open, and her grandmother, with a sinister expression and a hunched figure, shuffled in leaning on her cane. Whether the little girl wanted it or not, the grandmother began to tell a bedtime story in a low voice—a tale that seemed familiar yet distinctly unfamiliar: "Sleeping Beauty." In the story, a lovely and beautiful little princess was born in a prosperous kingdom. On the day of her christening, everyone was invited except for the old, eccentric fairy. The fairy arrived uninvited and cast a wicked curse upon the little princess and the entire kingdom. This film was nominated for the 82nd Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film.
