This art film is a puppet animation adapted from the children's fable "The Boy Who Cried Wolf," but presented in a newly reimagined form. "What's the big deal" is the catchphrase of Xiaopi, a little boy who loves to deceive others with lies. While playing a riddle game with his classmates, he uses an overheard answer to trick an old man into giving him a comic book titled "The Boy Who Cried Wolf." To his surprise, the little boy in the comic not only shares his name and appearance but also has the same catchphrase: "What's the big deal." Xiaopi takes over the job of herding sheep from the shepherd and starts playing the "wolf is coming" game. After a few rounds, the wolf really appears. With no one coming to help, he is so frightened that he runs away, but the wolf still catches him. Strangely, this wolf doesn't intend to eat him but instead demands that he tell lies to portray the wolf as a kind-hearted creature.
