This art film is an ink-wash animation. Although Little Swallow is growing up, she does not yet understand the value of her mother's hard work, often carelessly discarding the insects her mother painstakingly catches. Seeing this, her mother devises a good way to teach her a lesson: she asks Little Swallow to catch insects herself and feed them to her mother in return.
