This is a live-action stop-motion animation, distinct from claymation, as it uses real people to create the stop-motion effect. Two men (Grant Munro, Jean Paul Ladouceur) become neighbors. At first, they get along well, smoking, reading newspapers, and chatting together. A beautiful little flower grows right in the middle between their two homes, and both men grow increasingly fond of it, each wanting it for themselves. Unable to settle ownership by drawing a boundary, they begin to fight fiercely over the flower, ultimately leading to tragedy.
