On the western frontier, the beautiful Minnie (voiced by Marcellite Garner) joyfully drives her carriage along the road. Along the way, she encounters a puddle, and the cheerful cowboy Two-Gun Mickey (voiced by Walt Disney) comes to her aid. However, Minnie is unappreciative, instead considering Mickey a frivolous fellow. Soon, Minnie arrives in a small town, where she is to collect a bag of gold coins from the local bank. Unexpectedly, the town has already fallen under the control of the villain Peg-Leg Pete (voiced by Billy Bletcher) and his gang, who soon pursue Minnie, intent on seizing the gold from her carriage. Minnie flees for her life, but the bandits draw closer and closer. At this critical moment, Two-Gun Mickey arrives, engaging in a fierce gunfight single-handedly against the gang of outlaws... 　　In the film, Pete's peg leg alternates between left and right.
