The sun is shining, the breeze is gentle, and Mickey (voiced by Walt Disney) drives his little car, whistling cheerfully, arriving at Minnie's (voiced by Marcellite Garner) doorstep. He is taking his girlfriend out for a picnic, and the mischievous Pluto hopes his owner will bring him along, so Mickey ties him to the back of the car. The car moves forward, but trouble arises halfway. Two wild rabbits are standing in the grass, and Pluto, feeling playful, ends up dragging the car while chasing the rabbits, inevitably getting teased by the cunning creatures. 　　Finally reaching their destination, Mickey sets up the picnic gear, takes out the phonograph, and to the tune of elegant music, he and Minnie dance a joyful dance, completely unaware that squirrels, ants, and bees are stealing their lunch...
