Another bright and sunny morning, Mickey (voiced by Walt Disney) is busy pulling weeds in the garden with the help of his dog Pluto. Meanwhile, Minnie (voiced by Marcellite Garner) hums a cheerful tune as she waters the flowers and plants in her garden. Naturally, Mickey is overjoyed to see Minnie and eagerly shows off his various skills in front of his beloved, though this leads to one mishap after another, leaving him in awkward and comical situations. A singing bird arrives in Minnie's yard, chirping a beautiful melody. Captivated by the song, Minnie almost forgets Mickey is there. Undeterred, Mickey sneaks into the birdhouse in Minnie's yard, uses his hand to mimic a bird, and whistles another cheerful tune. 　　A greedy black cat mistakes Mickey for a real bird and pounces, only to send Mickey tumbling into the pond. Mickey climbs out of the water, and together with Minnie, they create wonderful music...
