On the vast plains of Argentina, Mickey and his steed approach from afar. He hums a little tune, carefree and content, and before he knows it, he arrives at a small tavern. Mickey dismounts and hops inside, where the fiery Minnie is dancing a passionate tango. Mickey, smoking a cigarette, jumps down with spirited vigor and joins Minnie for a dance. Meanwhile, the villainous Pete swoops in to steal the love, kidnapping Minnie and riding off on horseback. Our good Mickey cannot stand by and watch the girl he loves in distress. He too rushes out of the tavern, mounts his steed, and gives chase. A contest between men thus unfolds.
