This animated film depicts an imagined, terrifying world and won the 1962 Academy Award for Animated Short Film. 　　 A man creates a comfortable vacation atmosphere for himself on a beautiful beach using inflatable balloons. These balloons not only transform into tents, lounge chairs, water balls, and other objects but also, as he wishes, become delicious food and a beautiful woman. After creating a rather attractive woman, the man is very satisfied, but she looks down on him. To win her affection, the man begins using inflatable balloons to frighten her, and she is temporarily conquered. Later, while he is off guard, the woman flirts with a robust man, and he engages in a battle with this man for her attention. However, both he and the scenic area are merely inflatable substitutes.
