Dressed in a tuxedo, the serious pianist Tom takes the stage and, together with the orchestra, performs Liszt's "Hungarian Rhapsody" for the audience. Fully focused, Tom has no idea that an uninvited guest is about to disrupt his performance. At this very moment, the little mouse Jerry is sleeping inside the piano in the high-pitch section. Tom's playing disturbs its sleep, and an irritated Jerry decides to get up and interfere with Tom's performance. Tom has to deal with Jerry's mischief while trying his best to play the piano, becoming flustered and overwhelmed. With Jerry's disruptions, the entire performance becomes full of fun and excitement, though for Tom, it is undoubtedly a nightmare... This film won the 1947 Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film.
