"Barbie in the Pink Shoes" is an animated film directed by Owen Hurley, written by Alison Taylor, and starring Katie Crown, Trevor Devall, among others. It was released in 2013. The film follows Barbie as Kristyn (or Kristin), a dreamer and ballet dancer studying under the strict teacher Natasha. By chance, Kristyn acquires a pair of magical pink ballet shoes that transport her and her friend Hailey into a ballet world. In this world, Kristyn transforms into Giselle from the ballet and Odette, the Swan Princess, embarking on a series of adventures and challenges to ultimately defeat the Snow Queen. Upon returning to the human world, Kristyn not only becomes a ballet star but also changes the attitude of her stubborn instructor, Natasha.
