Earth teenagers Leilei and Jingjing unintentionally rescue a stray dog named Tuotuo and adopt it, but the strange glowing collar around Tuotuo's neck catches their attention. One day, Tuotuo suddenly disappears. While chasing after Tuotuo, Leilei and Jingjing discover in the forest countless Earth animals, just like Tuotuo, wearing glowing collars. As if hypnotized, they all walk from all directions toward a strange spaceship parked in the woods. To save Tuotuo, Leilei and Jingjing venture into the spaceship and discover that it is actually on a mission to smuggle Earth animals to a strange planet called Scrap Star. In order to stop the spaceship's journey, Leilei and Jingjing, with the help of the unwilling smuggler mechanic Mr. Green, learn the basics of operating the spacecraft. After a fierce battle with the spaceship of Scrap Star's leader, Ah Huo, they manage to transport the animals to a beautiful green planet. However, at this moment, the Scrap Emperor has already reassembled a massive fleet and is tracking them down... Leilei, Jingjing, and a small dog are taken by the Interstellar Zoo's spaceship to a space cargo transfer station, where they become entangled in an interplanetary animal smuggling case. While being abducted by the animal smuggler Scrap Emperor, the spaceship pilots Mr. Green and Mr. Thin step in to rescue them, helping them escape the Scrap Emperor's control. Meanwhile, Mr. Thin overcomes numerous difficulties, conducts a secret investigation, obtains firsthand evidence of the Scrap Emperor's control over the animal smuggling operation, and ultimately defeats him.
