Twenty thousand years ago, during the Ice Age, the utterly unreliable Sid (voiced by John Leguizamo) leads a camping trip with beavers, anteaters, and baby glyptodonts. Sid claims to be the master of the forest and a child of nature, but he appears to have absolutely no survival skills whatsoever—first getting viciously stung by wasps, then tumbling off a cliff, and later leading the little ones straight into getting lost. Sid even mistakenly eats a poisonous plant, causing his head to swell up like a balloon. Despite enduring the little ones' distrust and disdain, this supremely confident creature remains unfazed, continuing to charge further down his path of foolishness. At this moment, neither Sid nor the babies could have imagined how his unintentional actions would go on to shape such incredible landscapes and history... This film is a short spin-off from "Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs."
