On a snowy night, the squirrel Scrat carries a nut across the icy plains. While passing through a certain area, he accidentally notices a glowing light beneath the ice. Scrat digs out a strange machine from within, which transports him and his nut to the Middle Ages. He pulls a sword from a stone, only to be met with a barrage of arrows from a castle. Amid the chaos, Scrat is then taken to a gladiator arena, where speeding chariots leave him with nowhere to hide. It turns out the machine is a time machine, forcing Scrat on an endless journey through time with no destination in sight. Throughout the perilous travels, dangers arise frequently, yet despite it all, Scrat remains deeply attached to his nut, unable to forget it... This film is a companion short to the animated feature "Ice Age: The Meltdown" and won the 2007 Annie Award for Best Animated Short.
