A somewhat shy little pig named Wilbur befriends a spider named Charlotte, who lives on a beam above his pigpen. Upon learning the dreadful fate that awaits all pigs, Wilbur becomes deeply anxious. Charlotte decides to save her friend. She weaves words like "Some Pig" into her web, letting the farmer and the community know that Wilbur is no ordinary pig and deserves to be saved.
