An original video animation short film based on Osamu Tezuka's fantasy fairy tale "Unico." Unico, a young unicorn with a mysterious horn, one day meets a girl named Chiko. Chiko lives in a town where the sky is covered by factory smoke and other pollutants, preventing sufficient sunlight from reaching it—a place also known as the "Pollution Town." Because of this, Chiko's health has weakened, and she spends her days bedridden. What action will Unico take upon learning of this sad reality? This OVA follows in the footsteps of the two theatrical films produced by Sanrio: "Unico" and "Unico: To the Magic Island." The director, as with the first film, is Toshio Hirata. Osamu Tezuka himself also served as supervisor. The voice of Unico has been changed from the film's Katsue Miwa to Kōya Okada, the star of the live-action TV series "Ken-chan." Additionally, Ichirō Arishima, who played remarkable supporting roles in various Toho films, provides the voice for the grandfather character.
