"WALL·E" stands for Waste Allocation Load Lifters - Earth, a profession that emerged in the year 2700. By then, Earth was so overwhelmed with garbage that the entire planet was nearly buried under waste. The culprits—humans—had no choice but to relocate to spaceships, hiring a company called Buynlarge to clean up Earth's trash, with plans to return and settle once the planet was restored. Buynlarge dispatched large numbers of these robots called WALL·E to Earth to collect garbage. However, WALL·E was ill-suited to Earth's environment, arriving in droves and breaking down in droves. In the end, only one robot remained, tirelessly following its programming to clean up waste day after day. Centuries passed, and the last surviving WALL·E continued to scavenge through the piles of trash, discovering many human-made treasures along the way. It began to develop self-awareness and learned what loneliness meant. One day, a spaceship suddenly landed, and a female robot named Eve arrived on Earth on a search mission. The trash-collecting robot "fell in love" with Eve, but it faced a dilemma: should it leave Earth with Eve or continue following its programming to collect garbage for the rest of its life...
