The story takes place during World War II. As radio communications have become unsafe, the British military begins training homing pigeons to communicate with the French underground resistance and the Allied forces. A wild pigeon named "Valiant," seeing so many of his kind serving their country, is eager to join the effort. Thus, "Valiant" does everything he can to blend in among the military pigeons. Compared to the trained pigeons, the untrained "Valiant" seems somewhat out of his depth. But by coincidence, "Valiant" is assigned the most critical mission of the war: to deliver intelligence about the Normandy landings to the Allied forces. Facing the enemy's fierce military falcons, will "Valiant" be able to complete his mission successfully?
