On a sunny day, George and A.J., caregivers from the Shady Oaks retirement home, arrive at the house of old man Carl (voiced by Steve Purcell) to pick him up. Carl exchanges a few words with them before turning and heading inside. The two men, feeling bored yet relaxed, have no idea that an unprecedented spectacle is about to unfold before their eyes. Grandpa Carl’s house, which had been standing as solid as a rock just moments ago, is suddenly lifted into the sky by thousands of colorful balloons and carried away by the wind. George and A.J. are left stunned, wide-eyed and speechless, unable to snap back to reality for a long time. Grandpa Carl’s incredible feat is broadcast on television, resonating with elderly people across the nation. However, this spells trouble for the unlucky duo George and A.J., as in the days to come, they will face even more imaginative flying house incidents.
