Nobita picks up a stray dog in an empty lot, whose true identity is the son of King Bowan of the Bowan Lake Kingdom. He fled to Japan due to the ambitions of the evil minister Daburan. He will lead Nobita and his friends in a struggle against Daburan. In terms of production, the director of the 2014 Doraemon movie is Shin'nosuke Yakuwa, one of the main directors of the TV version of "Doraemon" and the first-time film director. The script is written by Higashi Shimizu, who has been responsible for the scripts of the recent three Doraemon animated movies (2011's "Nobita and the New Steel Troops," 2012's "Nobita and the Island of Miracles," and 2013's "Nobita's Secret Gadget Museum").
