Around June 6, 2009, it began to be projected at planetarium facilities across Japan. Production was handled by Ichimonzaka Studio. Nobita, who has to research stars for his homework, becomes deeply interested in astronomy while using Suneo's telescope for stargazing on the hill behind his house. He asks Doraemon to help him observe the stars using the Subaru Telescope in Hawaii. Fascinated by the distant cosmic scenery they witness there, Nobita and his friends board a spaceship and venture into the universe, embarking on an adventure through space using the "What-If Box."
