Against this backdrop, the Middle Eastern country "Aslan Kingdom" was plunged into instability due to the civil war between the government forces and the rebel army. This is where the story takes place: under the Aslan government forces, there is a foreign mercenary unit stationed in Area 88. 　　In Area 88, there are no restrictions based on race or nationality. Here, a group of highly skilled fighter pilots who make air combat their profession gather; they receive corresponding rewards based on their missions, risking their lives in brutal battles. 　　Any pilot who signs the "Contract from Hell" and comes to Area 88 can only leave by surviving for three years or paying a penalty of 1.5 million dollars.
