The animated film "The Addams Family" is getting a sequel. This dark gothic comedy has just been released in North America with excellent box office results (earning $35 million in its first four days). Taking advantage of the momentum, MGM/United Artists Releasing announced that "The Addams Family 2" is officially scheduled for release in North America on October 22, 2021.
