In this installment, the previously in-love Mavis and Jonathan do not appear, but their love child—a half-human, half-vampire adorable baby—makes its debut. The baby is dragged up to a high platform by Grandpa Dracula to learn the ultimate skill of flying. In the sequel, the traditional vampire Vlad arrives at the drastically transformed Hotel Transylvania, setting the stage for a clash between tradition and innovation.
