As humanity expanded into outer space, planets across the cosmos were developed into resort destinations, ushering in an era where anyone could easily embark on space travel. In the year 5808 of the space calendar, Hoshivatari Goro, in search of his missing father, joins a tour run by the small space travel company "YAT." During the tour, he accidentally damages the spaceship. To repay the cost of the ship, Goro becomes a member of YAT, working for free while continuing his journey to find his father.
Initially, the series is a comedic gag anime filled with both tears and laughter. However, as the story progresses, it is revealed that mysteries surrounding Katsura and the dimensional tunnel are connected to Goro's father. Particularly from episode 42 onward, the format shifts from the previously self-contained episodic style to a continuous serialized narrative. As past mysteries are unveiled, the story depicts the YAT members and their allies confronting one incident after another.
The underlying theme of this work is the bond between parent and child. The relationships between major characters—such as Goro and Daigo, Yamamoto and Katsura, Kanea and Anne—play a significant role in crucial parts of the story.
