The anime "The Prince of Tennis" began airing in 2001. In 2012, the highly popular ongoing manga "The New Prince of Tennis" from "Jump SQ." (Shueisha) was adapted into a TV anime. Through events and theatrical releases, it has continued to be supported by many fans over the years. Now, to mark the anime's 20th anniversary, the release of "The New Prince of Tennis: Hyotei vs. Rikkai - Game of Future" has been decided. This anime-original story, fully supervised by the original creator, Takeshi Konomi, consists of two parts: a first and a second chapter. It has garnered significant attention as it depicts a dream match never before seen even in the original work: a showdown between Hyotei Gakuen Junior High School, led by Keigo Atobe, and Rikkai Dai Fuzoku Middle School, led by Seiichi Yukimura. U-NEXT has decided to exclusively stream "The New Prince of Tennis: Hyotei vs. Rikkai - Game of Future <First Chapter>" starting Saturday, February 13, 2021. U-NEXT is the only place to watch this long-awaited new work. Furthermore, to commemorate the streaming decision, "The New Prince of Tennis" and "The New Prince of Tennis OVA vs Genius10" will be available for early streaming starting Sunday, December 27.
