The OVA for the TV anime "TRICKSTER - From Edogawa Ranpo's 'The Boy Detectives Club'", which is currently airing on TOKYO MX and Yomiuri TV from October 3rd (Monday) and will begin airing on BS 11 from October 4th (Tuesday), is set for release on December 22nd! While the TV series focuses on the "boy who cannot die," Kobayashi, and the "acting leader of the Boy Detectives Club," Hanasaki, depicting the Boy Detectives Club's activities amidst the fated rivalry between Akechi and the Fiend with Twenty Faces and various incidents, this OVA will feature two spin-off stories! One will depict the past of Akechi and the Fiend with Twenty Faces, and the other will portray the Boy Detectives Club before Hanasaki met Kobayashi. The scripts are handled by Zappai Gyo and Miyamoto Takeshi, who also work on the main series, making this an OVA that further deepens the worldview of "TRICKSTER".
