This is a coming-of-age story about Rei, a protagonist with only six years left to live, who meets Alma, an immortal girl, and six elderly knights, and strives to live his limited life to the fullest. Rei, a 14-year-old boy who fled the war-torn slums, collapses in the desert. He is saved by Alma, a 1,400-year-old immortal princess, and six elderly knights. Touched by Rei’s earnest and unwavering spirit despite being burdened with a fate that allows him to live only until the age of 20 due to illness, the princess and the elderly knights rediscover the meaning of life. However, their peaceful days together do not last long. A military superpower begins to move, aiming to seize the princess’s eternal life.
