On a street in a small town, a large poster is plastered on the wall outside a theater. The image on the poster features a seductive and charming Minnie, who belongs to a traveling song and dance troupe called Opry House. Mickey, a core member of the troupe, stands outside the theater, loudly calling out and working hard to attract audiences from all directions. Before long, the crowd grows larger and larger, filling the theater to capacity with a lively and bustling atmosphere. As the music begins, the performance officially starts. Mickey takes on various roles—now playing an Indian snake charmer, now performing a belly dance, and later passionately playing the piano. He and his friends' performances earn enthusiastic applause from the audience below...
This film marks the first time Mickey appears wearing gloves. The music used in the film includes "Yankee Doodle," Prelude in C# Minor (Op. 2/3) by Sergei Vasilyevich Rachmaninoff, "Carmen," and "Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2" by Franz Liszt, among others.
