Sorya

Sorya, a 17-year-old Cambodian girl, arrives in Phnom Penh with her best friend Lida to work in a garment factory. Enduring a grueling work pace in a no-talking environment, Sorya struggles with sewing, unlike Lida, who quickly climbs the ranks. Sorya is more drawn to the capital's vibrant nightlife and urban energy. One night, while singing karaoke at Lucky Bar, her voice captivates everyone present. This marks the beginning of her journey toward stardom, but between love affairs, friendships broken and repaired, desire and frustration, Sorya faces many trials as she searches for her path in life.
