Petukh i boyarin

Once upon a time there lived an old man and an old woman. They were very poor and had no bread. One day, they went to the forest and brought home some acorns. The old woman accidentally dropped one acorn into a crack in the floor. The acorn sprouted and quickly grew up to the floorboards. The old woman asked the old man to cut a hole in the floor so the oak tree could grow and they could gather acorns from it. The old man cut a hole in the floor, and then through the roof. And the tree grew and grew, higher and higher.
