Shindo Shuichi aspires to form a band with his good friend Nakano Koji, with Shuichi as the vocalist, lyricist, and composer, and Koji as the guitarist. One night, on his way home from work, Shuichi encounters the person who becomes indispensable in his life—Yuki Eiri. While still confused by the situation, Shuichi is criticized by Yuki, who tells him his talent for writing lyrics is zero. From that moment on, Yuki becomes a part of his life. Perhaps unwilling to accept Yuki’s criticism, Shuichi is determined to meet him again and boldly intercepts Yuki’s car, thus beginning their inseparable relationship. Initially, Yuki refuses to admit that he actually likes Shuichi, but Shuichi’s genuine and unpretentious personality gradually softens Yuki’s originally cold and aloof demeanor.
