Nine Lives Left

After a luxurious summer spent with a vacationing family, the young cat Chantal returns to the streets of the seaside tourist village, now a ghost town as winter approaches. Convinced of her domesticated nature, she embarks on an odyssey across the small Greek island in search of the right human to adopt her, alongside the few remaining strays in the village. Surviving in the wild among fellow felines, Chantal discovers both the struggles and joys of stray life, as well as animal instincts previously unknown to her. Thus, when she finally meets the one—the island’s charming young veterinarian—she must question her true nature once more before embracing a life indoors.
