【我推的孩子】Mother and Children

The anime "【Oshi no Ko】Mother and Children" is based on the popular manga serialized in "Weekly Young Jump," written by Aka Akasaka of "Kaguya-sama: Love Is War" fame and illustrated by Mengo Yokoyari of "Scum's Wish." Ahead of its TV broadcast starting in April 2023, the 90-minute extended version of Episode 1 received a theatrical screening. Gorou, an obstetrician-gynecologist working at a local hospital in a regional city. One day, Ai, the idol from "B-Komachi" whom Gorou supports, appears in his examination room. Ai carries a certain secret, and Gorou becomes entangled in a bizarre fate following his "worst" encounter with her. The animation is produced by Doga Kobo, known for "My Dress-Up Darling," directed by Daisuke Hiramaki of "Wataten!: An Angel Flew Down to Me," with character designs by Kanna Hirayama of "Rent-A-Girlfriend."
