Miracle Lady

Miracle Lady is a short puppet animation film that tells the story of two old women who spend their days waiting. Fortuna, a 75-year-old lady, sits in her wedding gown, waiting for her late husband to return home. Meanwhile, her next-door neighbor's elderly servant, Marcela Merkada, wishes to end her miserable life. An old, forgotten miracle from long ago changes the two women's lives and, inevitably, their fates. Miracle Lady is Moran Somer and Michal Abulafia's graduation film from the Department of Animation at the Bezalel Academy of Art & Design in Jerusalem.
