Hearts

In Hearts, I am attempting to convey the integration of emotional energy over a span of time. It is a perpetual cycle, starting slowly, reaching a climax, and then undergoing transformation. Perhaps due to its subject matter, it had to be developed as a single, unified piece. The heart serves as this universal symbol, not only of emotional energy but also as the seat of consciousness—the heart-center that informs the entire psyche, which I have depicted as a magnetic landscape. From the heart, myriad forms of energy emanate across this landscape. -BB
