Take a deep breath and start the new year by being kind to your mind with the Netflix Original Series, "Headspace Guide to Meditation." In this eight-episode animated series, Andy Puddicombe (a former Buddhist monk and co-founder of the globally popular Headspace meditation app) introduces viewers to the benefits and science behind meditation. Each 20-minute episode explores a different mindfulness technique to aid meditation practice, focusing on themes such as stress, anger, and letting go, and concludes with a guided meditation. "Headspace Guide to Meditation" offers a rest for the mind and body, demonstrating how easy and accessible meditation practice can be for everyone. "Headspace Guide to Meditation" is the first of three series produced in collaboration between Headspace and Vox Media Studios, with subsequent series to include "Headspace Guide to Sleep" and an interactive special.
