The Tale of a Dreaming City
"Girls' Work" can be considered a brand-new endeavor for TYPE-MOON. In an interview, Takashi Takeuchi mentioned that the work's central theme is the "city." The story is set in Shinjuku, a miraculous garden where one can glimpse the dream of the floral capital, Paris. On the streets of Shinjuku, filled with flowers and greenery and infused with the atmosphere of Paris, the tales of young girls will unfold. The main plot also involves conflicts between the Mage's Association and the Holy Church. Previously, the official magazine "TYPE-MOON ACE" featured an introduction to this work, highlighting three keywords: City Heart, Shinjuku, and Mysterious City. "City Heart" symbolizes "Shinjuku," which at some point cast magic upon the city. In "Shinjuku," the music of the floral capital, Paris, began to play, and ever since, the Eiffel Tower, the Seine River, the Arc de Triomphe, and the Champs-Élysées have become visible within this city. Demons and assassins have arrived in this place, only to later lose something irreplaceable...
