One day, Yumeumi Teru finds a card in a warehouse on the outskirts of town. It is a card from a game called "Duel Masters," which everyone used to play in the past. After learning to duel with cards, Teru and Kokoro meet Rei, but during a duel, Rei's Arc reacts to Teru and emits a light. Learning that making the Arc shine could help Rei's parents, Teru decides to assist Rei and the others. However, this leads to them being targeted by Nest, who seeks the power of the Arc, and Hayate, who warns that if the Arc shines, the world will be destroyed.
