"It's up! The Death Flag!" The background character is a guy with nothing particularly noteworthy about him. One day, a girl who calls herself the "Death Flag" appears before him... Though she claims to be a grim reaper, at first glance she just looks like a cute girl. She often forgets her duties, and being kind-hearted, she can't help but assist when true death is about to strike. Such a girl meets the background character who is desperately trying to avoid death. Besides her, the background character also encounters girls who call themselves the Love Flag and the Survival Flag. With the intrusion of these Flag girls, each with their own distinct personalities, the background character's life becomes increasingly bizarre. And so, the daily life of avoiding death flags begins!
