Following the theatrical release, "Mobile Suit Gundam F91: Complete Version" (Director's Cut) was produced. This version was created to correct animation errors caused by production delays. It involved trimming and revising some key scenes, adding approximately 5 minutes of new footage, re-editing the audio track, and was subsequently released on home video.
