At Sandman Junior High School, Gaspard, Jules, and Loba are three unpopular, marginalized teens. One evening, they stumble upon a mind-boggling object in their school basement: a dream-travel machine! Unable to resist the tempting opportunity to mess with their schoolmates' dreams, they break the primary rule: never alter the course of any dream! This upsets the balance maintained by Asibikaashi, the guardian of the DreamCatcher, unleashing a wave of nightmares that contaminates the school.
