Based on the original concept by Buronson and Tetsuo Hara, and the manga by Kajio, this is the second season of the anime adaptation of "DD Hokuto no Ken". The story of the second season is relatively independent from the first, depicting a school life story set in the End of the Century Academy. It also includes the anime adaptation of the parody work "Hokuto no Ken: Ichigo-aji", another spoof of "Hokuto no Ken", hence the title "DD Hokuto no Ken 2: Ichigo-aji+".
